Well Amanda's mom called me last night and told me that Amanda had her baby. Antonio Roger Zaragosa, born May 20, 2006 at 6:48am weight 8lbs 9oz. and 21 inches long. He's the CUTEST fricken baby ever. I went to go visit her in the hospital today, and she's doing well. She was in labor for 24 hours and got an epidural after 18 hours. Well my surgery went as planned. It was meniscus repair vs. menisectomy (removal), depending on what my doc saw when he went in there. Luckily they were able to repair it, b/c with the removal I would've had an increased chance of getting arthritis 10 years earlier than the average person. Hmm...so yep it's true, knee surgery numero dos will be occuring during Christmas break. Apparently my meniscus which they thought might heal on its own after my first surgery hasn't healed, so now he needs to go in again and help it along. He said it'll be meniscus repair, which easily means 3-4 weeks on crutches with an immobilizer that runs the ( Read more... )
