I honestly felt like a kid this weekend. I fell asleep early on Friday night, and woke up to see a blanket of snow covering everything I could see from my window. I have never seen so much snow in my life! Mary and I frolicked through the snow. Our snow excursion lead us to the Quad, the Union to warm up by the fire, and Genos.

So I have the flu, but thankfully I'm in the later stages of it. On Monday I woke up with my body aching and freezing in Humphreys. That alone told me that something was wrong. Some things will never change.

Most of that is still the same. One important addition to this would be my Cousin Steve's best friend from Branson he's brought down. He looks just like Wilford Brimley, the guy who does the diabetes commercials.

Holy crap this year flew by.

Move over Rick Perry. Texas is ready for a new governor and that man is Kinky Friedman. He stands for greatness, like making it illegal to declaw your cat.

Dolly Parton is my "big thing" right now. I listened to her albums at my dad's the other night. My mom and I watched The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas last night. I didn't realized how much I missed that movie. Love it.
