I drive in rush hour traffic everyday on the way to school on I-10. I start to look at people's cars and what they put all over their cars. My two favorites would have to be (1) the support the troops magnetic ribbon on the gas tank (I'm sensing irony here), and (2) a support the troops magnetic ribbon made out of the Texas flag (sorry every other ( Read more... )

great observations my friend

I forgot to tell you, during my stay in Texas last week the director of our camp was wearing a bowtie at one point. Not just any bowtie though, a bowtie of Texas state flag.

That has to be one of the most awful combinations ever: Texas pride and the bowtie. I did appreciate that story btw.

Have you seen the "support our troops" ribbons with a cross cut out of the middle instead of just the ribbon hole? This always looks really ridiculous because throwing away the cross would be a crime and they put it in a really awkward location next to the ribbon.

P.S. I'm really glad you're having a great time in Houston. Out of my three best friends from home, one lives in Little Rock/ Conway (Jon), one works in Little Rock because her parents stress her out (Hina, and one lives here but goes to parties in Conway a lot 'cause she likes some guy there.

What ever happened to the good old days?!
