It's my understanding that he is being released to a Libyan prison (with international oversight) and is to complete his life sentence *there*.

And do they intend to *fly* him to Libya? Hmmm....

I don't know how compassionate it is - what kind of medical treatment could he possibly get in Libya? I can't imagine the scottish people footing the bill for this guys treatment, I would say he has been give a death sentence for sure now.
