Okay scratch that, burn tool makes volatile go ginger. >:|
I tried stretching a piece with just one highlight bigger but the highlight is still in the wrong place I think and I'm worried I'll lose too much texture detail. Ho hum.

I think after painting various bits of the alpha neon pink and green to see which parts they cover, then playing around with the burn tool in relevant spots I might have figured a way to improve the stripy. Just need to do it with volatile now instead of a random red so I can colour it if all goes well.
