Ahem. I like the idea of Claire being hideously late to the dinner he meant to introduce Chane at. I also like the idea of him introducing a sock-puppet as his imaginary girlfriend (that shows possibilities...) The reaction of the Gandors was fun, particularly that they thought he kidnapped Chane (like that was possible). And getting into a fight about their first kiss seems right up Claire and Chane's alley. They probably do it on a regular basis. Anyway, awesome as usual.

Heh heh, I finally came back! ^^V I should be able to write regularly again, now that work isn't so crazy anymore.

Writing this made me wonder a bit about Claire's childhood. Did he have imaginary friends? If he did, he probably still thinks that they were real. Or maybe he really is the God of Baccano!-verse and everyone is his imaginary friend. :O

...My fingers were twitching to have one of the Gandors call Claire a "circus freak", but I think that would have been a bit too much. (Wait a second. Did I use that in another fic? I can't remember. O-o)

I was so giddy while I wrote the "fight scene". Thinking about it was just so awesome. I hope it turned out as hilarious as it was in my head. XD

I still haven't held up my end...must finish reviewing... It's just that I run out of useful things to say.

You've given me a lovely image of Claire as Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal--in short, a psychotic clown whose greatest wish is to be reunited with his best friend...a paper bag puppet. Definitely one of the greatest endings in video games.

Ahhh, I love the idea of them fighting in the hotel. I can imagine the looks on the poor business’ faces…something like the way they looked at us when we were at the anime con this weekend and went to get food. In costume.

Keith rarely talks…I wonder how he and Chane would get along? I imagine he and his wife must have been in a similar situation as Claire and Chane…

Paper bag puppet. XD I suddenly have an image of Chane wearing a paper bag over her head because Claire went out of control again in public. XD XD XD

An anime con just isn't complete without walking the streets and visiting fast food restaurants in costume. My sister wore an epic Bebedora (Arc the Lad) costume for the last one, complete with a huge hat, and we walked over to the convention every day, getting so many stares and comments. It was great. XD

I bet Keith is one of those husbands who just grunt at everything their wife says. XD

(Don't get me started on Keith. Or Berga, for that matter. I have an unholy amount of love for them. And the thought of how amazing their wives would have to be to be able to actually live with them. XD)

Love it! Especially the interaction between the Gandor brothers and Claire. Claire and Chane are my favorite pair, I wish they would have shown how Claire (must I say Vino) and Chane reunite. But at least I have your fanfictions to read =D .

Interesting to know that the two older Gandor brothers are married. I wonder how their wives are, especially since one Gandor never speaks, and the other has a bad temper.

I don't know if I should place this request here but could you write a fic (PG-13 or under) with a pairing between Maiza and Rachel. I know that this sounds very strange but this idea came to me after I saw the cards here http://baccano.fenali.net/gallery/card
I noticed that couples had the same number and then I noticed that Maiza and Rachel had the same number, and since I love Maiza-san I would love to see him find someone.

I think maybe we'll get the Claire/Chane reunion in the DVD bonus episodes (but don't take my suppositions seriously), but whatever really happens, I'm sure that they'll be as amazing as the rest of the series. <3

Seriously, their wives ought to be totally amazing to put up with them. XD I love them so, but I can't imagine myself actually enduring married life with people like them)

You're breaking up my Rachel/Nicholas OTP? D: (lol, I'm just kidding. XD) I'll be happy to write your request, since I've been looking to pair Maiza with someone myself (though I'm going to keep my new crazy fanpairing a secret for now), but I won't be able to write it until I'm finished with the leftover NaNos, so it might take me a couple months. Sorry. ^^;;; But if you're still interested, please comment on this post, including a prompt I can use to establish a setting or subject or whatever. ^^ Again, I'm sorry that I won't be able to get to it right away. ^^;;;

Nicholas, I forgot about him! After reading your post, I like the sound of that pairing. Well Maiza with anyone (no slash,please) would be great. Once I come up with something, I'll post on a request.

I hope that one of the episodes of the DVD will be the reunion between Claire and Chane, in the anime Claire promised that he would find her.
