You're inspiring and all-around awesome. Talking to you last night helped get me out of a slag pit and into the frame of mind to do some stuff I need to be doing, personally and politically. I'm pretty proud to be your fella.

I second that. As for the mush factor, I always knew he had it in him...

As for your words, you are most correct. I've had a lot of facing up to unexpected outcomes this week and can say for sure that the only sure course is the one that moves you forward, and the one that you take with your eyes wide open.

Hope I get to see you and say hello one of these visits...but I've done the long distance thing and I know how precious time is. Maybe I can just drive by and honk or throw eggs at Leonard's house or something.

I'm hoping we can say hello real soonlike! Sadly, my visits will be relatively rare, as I've got the kiddo to contend with, but it'll happen. I'm excited to meet you.

And one day WHO KNOWS maybe I'll be there longer than a visit.

Oh, it's nice to see you're backish! Being stuck in the Uglyless office all day has me just hitting refresh on LJ all day long and I'm really starting to miss you freaks. I wish we had a Pie LJ Community that would post updates all day. Like, how is the troll slapfest going?

Also, I'm still suspicious about this supposed relationship. I wouldn't be surprised if this was all a ruse so that I'll drop my guard and the next thing I know Leo will be face stabbing me again.

You've found us out. It's a ruse. And while we are busy scheming, we make trips to see each other and have a lot of sex and make love declarations, but we can't pull anything on you! We're totally making it up!

Funny man. Hey, my daycare provider, a longtime Green, echoed your sentiments exactly about Missouri. She doesn't understand why the Dems spend so much time in Minnesota, and not down there, where there really is a battle to be fought.

Hey, I actually voted for a Green candidate this time! He was the only one running against the city's super-corrupt Dem. Sheriff (the Sheriff's department is only in charge of, like, serving summons and carrying out eviction orders). Voted against him in the primaries, too. I also voted for a Libertarian, too, because he was the only one on the ticket whose social policy was not outrageously offensive to me (Governor's race. Only people on the ticket were a female Zell Miller, a young Kit Bond, a Libertarian and a Constitution Party...ist). He was also the only one who did not point to any of his policies and say "My faith!".
