I have an Emerson icon somewhere! I have quite a few PD icons somewhere. This is because I would sort of like to live life as, um, all of them. At once.

Isn't Mary Russell fucking awesome? I mean, obviously I was limited in my squeeing because it would sound like "so there's this girl, and she's tall and blonde and has a Troubled Past and she meets Sherlock Holmes and is his equal" and everybody would rightfully go HOW DID THAT MAKE IT OFF FF.N?? But she isn't that AT ALL. She's just brilliant and the plot is so intricate and hits every note beautifully and Holmes is a delight. My squee knows no bounds, and i am so so so so so pleased you feel the same.
