FutureLearn’s great - there’s a wide variety of subjects, it’s still possible to do it for free (though they’ve started to charge for some of the bells and whistles) and you do get to know the people you’re doing it with, though you don’t really make friends like you do here.
Thanks :-)

I have never read any Shakespeare plays. The sonnets, yes, but not the plays. I do love seeing them performed, though. There are still a couple that I have never managed to catch that are on my unfulfilled ambitions list (plus at least one I will NEVER go to see again *g*)

You didn’t read the plays at school? I’m the other way round - I’ve read far more than I’ve seen. I’ve started going to the live in HD broadcasts at the cinema, but they tend to stick to the more popular ones.
Is it Titus Andronicus?

I must look at FutureLearn - I had forgotten it existed and I am so pleased that you have reminded me.

FutureLearn’s a lot of fun. They have a wide range of subjects - including a lot of medical subjects, which are probably of more interest to you than to me - you can still do the basics for free, and you do get to know people, at least for the duration of a course, and sometimes meet up again on other courses.

That's a delightful quote fromHopkins, who I don't know of at all but must look up.
