I fucking hate our gradutate license issuing. I passed my g2 level 10 months ago and have to retake it in November because my license is expiring in JANUARY. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to pay for it. But no, I paid to take the test last December, only to have to pay to take it again next month and then pay to have my licence renewed ( Read more... )

In January, will it be a year that has passed from your G2? Because then you can book in January and get your G license.

Sorry all this shiza is happening. It's a huge pain in the ass.

There is a wait list of a few months to do the G test. My license will have expired by then, not to mention I've only driven on the 400 series ONCE in my life and that was 2 weeks ago. I dont feel I'm ready to take the G exam. And yes, by Jan, a year and 1 week will have passed since I took my g2 exam.

I think if you fail your G, you may be able to not have to re-take your G2, but I'm not sure on that. I remember when I was scrambling to get my G (my license was expiring) and I had to call every day all the time to book the date that I wanted. There's always a cancellation somewhere.

Wow, I paid 400$ flat for my driving school course and my last day is tommorow for in class.

I start in car for 10 hours on the weekends next month.

Young drivers is soo expensive.

I can go for my g2 with the car that they have available. Then after a year passes I can go for my g.

It doesn't take long, I've had my g1 since july 2007.

I've had mine since jan 04. If I had been told correctly that I had five years from DAY ONE of the written test, I would have my g by now, HOWEVER I was told I have five years after I take my g2 by several people, and apparently thats not the case.

if your g2 is about to expire, you can get it extended for a while until you are able to get your G.

i saw people doing that in the testing center when i got my g2 in oakville.

I looked into doing that, but it didn't happen, they just don't like me :(
