Today I saw my Mom for the first time in a long while. We had breakfast near my house. I had waffles. They were good. My mom told me that her and my dad went to a seminar to learn about how they could purchase a house built of straw. They want to use hemp straw, because my mom is allergic to wheat. Makes sense.

The wake was at Mark’s parent’s house. I was sweating and the heat coming out of the vent was hitting my legs. The dry air combined with my pantyhose was making my legs itchy. I didn’t adjust the vent. I guess I could have moved it to direct the hot air towards the passenger door, but I didn’t think of that at the time. I was thankful for the cold ( Read more... )

tonight as I waited for the street car a guy offered me a cab ride instead. this is the second time this month I have accepted a cab ride from a stranger. some people think this is stupid, I think it's heart warming. I always wonder... if someone who is waiting for a street car gives up and grabs a cab, why don't they bother asking the other people ( Read more... )
