Hopefully I'll be setting up a new journal for my travels soon. If I get a camera, then for sure. I think I'm just gonna go suck it up and buy a digital camera. I'll want it, I know I will. Even now I want to show you everything. I want to show you the handsome electrician. I want to show you acoustimat. I want to show you the drywallers throwing ( Read more... )

Keep your livejournal and put your pictures on photobucket. Is there anything I can send you for your birthday that you could use in your travels, for good luck and safety or maybe a practical use? A digital camera would be worth it, definitely... just be prepared to shell out money for batteries (get recharcheables)!

i must say i disgress and recomend nonrechargables, simply because you will not be able to plug the charger in in europa. remember that for anything you might bring that might need to go into an electrical socket, including fingers and forks (you even need a converter to electricute yourself in that part of the world)
it would definitely be cool to see what you see.
i will agree with kate and say keep the livejournal, and get a photobucket. i just figured out the best trick for that too..you upload all your pictures, but them in a folder, and then select them all, and click on the generate html code button, and it makes the code to post in your journal, rather than doing itall manually..brilliant!
also, stick with livejournal, cos it makes it easier for me to read...
love you

It seems like you're having fun at work. Yeah, post their pics !

If you can't get a universal electric converter, stick with non rechargeables batteries. And get a few batteries in advance so you don't run out of juice when you need it.
If you need help for your trip to France, drop Elsa a line; she'll be more than happy and we could prepare some things for you.
By the way, what will your itinerary be like ?
