From the your writing, I wouldn't have thought it was your first fanfic. Your characterization seem spot-on. Martha was always one of my favorite characters, and I like how you dealt with the way the others feel about her. Looking forward to more from you.

Thank you! I really wanted the characterization to be accurate. I'm hoping to feature Martha more heavily in an upcoming chapter.

Loving this story so far! This was my favorite part of this chapter:

Beckett stares at him. Why does he keep doing that? "Castle-" she begins, but Martha's being wheeled out to them. As Dr. Slappy starts to medi-babble at Rick, Martha beckons her closer with her good hand. Beckett leans down.

"Saw that," Martha slurs.

Oh, crap.

Great stuff! Keep up the wonderful work!

Again, very well done. I love that you tie back to previous "chapters" very subtly. I love that I can actually imagine this like it's a scene from the show. Well done.

That's my goal, keep in the show's reality. :-) Glad you liked it.

That line of Martha's reminds me of what my gran was like after her stroke -- that is, just as much of a gossip as ever!

Beckett: 100000. Fangirls: ZIP.

Hahaha! They really didn't have a chance against Beckett.

Glad you found Martha true to life. I hope as I write her I'll be able to preserve her sense of humor and personality.
