Oh, god. I am sorry this is a personal-experience kind of story. Hope everything works out for the best, including your writing therapy. ♥

Thank you. Writing is helping a lot, actually.

As painful as Martha-with-a-stroke is, I really like the handling of Kate and Alexis here; you've got an excellent ear for these characters, I think. I don't blame Beckett for looming, and I look forward to further episodes in the present tale.

Thanks; I'm glad you think the characters' voices are accurate. I've been too busy to write the last few days, but I do intend to finish the series.

<3 this story.
and sorry about your grandmother. I know how much that sucks. Mine has been in the hospital for the last six months, and I'm supposed to be moving to a different COUNTRY in a few months. Yay guilt. So if you ever need an internet hug, I will gladly provide.
But otherwise, much love for this story.

I'm sorry to hear that, Nic. Hope you're able to spend as much as possible with her until you leave. I keep thinking about the times I would stop by my grandma's between classes in college; I'm so glad I did that now that she's gone.

I'm so sorry to hear about everything. My grandmother passed when I was 3 months old, and my grandfather when I was 5. It's hard to watch my parents grow old, knowing that it'll happen some day (I'm in my 20s, they are already ~60+).

I agree with nictusa, much love for this story. I always try to hunt out the "true to show/life" fiction, I much enjoy those. This is in my top. Best of luck!

Wow, thank you for your kind words. I loved my grandma, but she would've been 93 this summer; it wasn't too surprising. But realizing that your parents are aging is hard.
