I think you should get to know your sisters friends sister... or whatever and see how she is and if you would like to go with her. But you can always wait to ask her later after you hang out with her, and then if you don't like her, then you didn't ask her. And also if you were getting to know the other girl, and Melanie says yes, then you can just go with her cause you haven't aksed the other girl.
