Why is it that I've got a fortnight's holiday, got lots to do but am already bored off my tits?

Thankfully, life seems to be returning to some form of normality... whatever that normality may be.

How much stress can someone take do you think?  Most of you know my situation but here's more happiness in my life - my uncle died this morning.      :(

Well, it's our last day in the Bahamas and it's been nice and relaxing, hot and sunny with some strong winds because we had the tail end of hurricane Dean. Our flight's actually at 9.30p.m. tonight (that's 2.30 am UK time on Thurs morning cos we're 5 hours behind here). Just had one of the most amazing experiences of my life today. Went swimming with dolphins (as if you couldn't guess from subject title). We had to sit on a float with our feet in the water and this dolphin appeared from no-where - made me jump so I quickly pulled my feet up out of the water (especially as one of the guys there was winding me up ( Read more... )

Can anyone give me advice on a good laptop to buy?

It's mainly for work but I'll need to be able to install software that I use in school like photoshop, interactive whiteboard programs, Word, Excel, Powerpoint (maybe wireless access to internet & email?).
