Final Surgery Update

Welp, T-minus...well, I can't tell you because I have no idea. I have to be at the hospital at 7:15am ready to go. I'm the third scheduled procedure for that OR so we'll see when they actually take me up/knock me out, etc. I imagine I'll have to be run through a whole battery of blood drawings, IVs, all that crap. It's one of those annoying PDFs that doesn't let you save your entires in the form but you can fill it out and print it easily enough. Then sign it with two witnesses and you should be good to go. The Massey Center has a longer explanation:

Just spoke with ninsta_x on his cell phone, and while it was definitely the most slurred conversation we've had since we were crazy freshmen at JMU (breathing tube, post-anesthesia bliss, painkillers) it was 100% good news.

The best hopes for today were to not only explore but hopefully identify and fix whatever the problem's been, ideally all by laproscope. Looks like success on all counts, and the procedure must have gone very smoothly because he's already checked out and chilling with his folks back at their hotel ( ... )

Thanks for the update khyron! I'm very glad everything went well, whew! How can fatty tissue become infected? (I'd look it up but I'm kinda squeamish, heh.)

Then you definitely don't want me to attempt to try to explain it myself, after all I am surrounded by piles of old textbooks here and I hardly imagine I'd be able to interpret them lightly (or correctly).
