yeah i know it was for the best, just sucks in the meantime. decisions made for long-term good always suck hard in the present. sadly i think a relationship this long dying took a bit of my hopeless romanticism with it. not all of it, but a good chunk. i think i'd have to be qualified as a semi-skeptical romantic now, which isn't as poetic, but makes me feel a little better about my current sitch.

oh, and keep in touch Aubrey! my current situation leaves plenty of time to annoy girls across the whole world.

I'm really, really proud of you. That's super big of you to let her find, and you, find someone who'll complete each other instead of going through the motions. I know that'll probably be top five hardest things you'll ever have to do, it's life changing, and I'm really glad you are so level-headed about it. Not that you're looking for people to be proud of you, but it shows a lot of character. Now get some sleep.
