I know, right? All of the things that made SG-1 awesome are completely absent from this show. They won't even let O'Neill be O'Neill! And any funny moments that they had during the first couple of episodes ("for the love of God, Recipes!") just evaporated. Any characters that you start to think, "Hey, this guy is pretty cool!" they utterly ruin. I liked the first few episodes but this last episode failed in every imaginable way.
I always said BSG was a trainwreck and when I read that this series was supposed to more like it, I cringed. So far, it has been too much like it. A total trainwreck. HUbyy is already ready to stop bothering and I'm close.
Im not watching it at all. Adultry is not something i find funny or fun to watch. After reading on the message boards about certain scenes in this ep im glad i havent bothered.
I'm not sure the moment was supposed to be funny or fun at all. That being said, this episode didn't just push the boundaries of decency--it obliterated them.
I like these so call soap operish elements to SGU. Who these guys were back on Earth and the troubled relationships they have had could positively or adversely impact the lives of everyone on the DESTINY
