Othello was good. If odd. Really, really odd. The set was an empty stage, apart from six storage boxes, so it was all in the acting and the lighting. I felt that the direction was a little misguided in places, but absolutely inspired in others, which was a bit difficult to cope with, because my opinions of the play in general kept swinging wildly ( Read more... )

This weekend was wonderful. London was faaantastic, and surreal, and everything went amazingly! I spent all my money on new sunglasses before we left manchester - oops. But SO worth it. I've just made myself the best snack ever and I feel the need to tell everybody about it. It's a bowl of fruit salad (strawberries, pears, apples, mangoes), and then I poured natural yoghurt over the top and added lots of cereal oats. Healthy and simple and delicious ( Read more... )

Today was much better! Well, my mood got worse in an uncontrollable sort of way, but then we just did so much productive stuff for the musical and made friends with the builders (who will now give us planks of wood) that I cheered up very quickly, especially since my hayfever cleared up at the rehearsal, which was great!
