It's a beautiful thing that the two of you both wrote something together. Interesting results...you should do it more often.

At times I can tell who wrote what, but other times it all blended smoothly together.

A few of the lines that jumped out at me are:

Sanity has leapt across the stars
My shooting star missed as yours collided

Each gasping breath is the final test
And your explanation consists of fillers

Now I sink below the shadow of a dream
