i nearly choked on my coffee this morning when i read on hesari that torchwood starts today. i had no clue. how embarrassing since i've been waiting for it to start for such a long time ( Read more... )

Torchwood does not start today; it will start mid-January 2008.

And John's partner is Scott Gill.

And Torchwood? I must live under a rock or something because once again I have to say that I have bumped into something I have never even heard of. And that must mean that you have made me a tad bit wiser with your writings. :)

Teleportation....levitation.... Pretty much the most commonly used words in my vocabulary these days. Just came to mind when you mentioned science fiction...whether they actually have anything to do with it is an entirely different matter. :P And hey! One of my friends even has a voodoo detector in her kitchen. Once again it has nothing to do with science fiction....and apparently it actually says 'vuodon ilmaisin'....but who wants to be perfectly literate when illiteracy results in such intriguing devices turning up in ones kitchen? :)

And yeah... I'm obviously just avoiding my studies right now... 30 pages left to read...and so far the first 110 pages have made absolutely no sense to me.... I must quote..: "As a life scientist, you'll probably enjoy looking for deer dropping more than driving between sites --" Probably...NOT. *continues studying*
