Everytime I try to go to Times Square for New Years, the plans get ruined and I get diverted elsewheres.  My cousins told me yesterday they can't make it!  So, now I have to decide whether to stay and go to a party and spend lots of money on a ticket, or to just go to Times Square and be on my own for New Years.  Damn writing it out, it sounds

I'm sorry your plans got messed up. I promise that when I am a wealthy woman and finally purchase that helicopter I will go to Times Square with you on New Years Eve (the helicopter being essential for a quick getaway from the throngs).
Anyhoo, we will get our fill of loads of people on inauguration. Are you up for going?
