ohmigosh, it is amazing how much more bearable a little music can make a slow day.

I've never been so instantaneously uplifted.

Everytime I try to go to Times Square for New Years, the plans get ruined and I get diverted elsewheres.  My cousins told me yesterday they can't make it!  So, now I have to decide whether to stay and go to a party and spend lots of money on a ticket, or to just go to Times Square and be on my own for New Years.  Damn writing it out, it sounds ( Read more... )

 Tell me I'm not the only one that didn't get the Brooke Shields Volkwagen commercial.  Everytime I heard her say so-and-so was having a baby for German engineering, the only thing that popped into my mind was Nazism and it made me soo freaking uncomfortable I couldn't even concentrate enough to decipher the commercial message.  Note to Volkswagen ( Read more... )

It took me so long to figure out what was going on, and then I did.  I sat down and put pen to paper (gasp!) and let all my thoughts flow out and within a few pages it was all sudenly very clear.  And maybe that's because you can't ever really clearly remove the last words you wrote down without scrapping the whole page.
