Update on the cats
Charlie's fine. The vet couldn't find anything wrong with her (though they didn't do any bloodwork because it wasn't indicated). So basically, her problem is probably that she's still a little too feral. Anyone got any suggestions for taming a 1-yr old cat who spent probably about the first 6-8 months of her life as a feral kitty ( Read more... ) -

the cats saw fit for me to be awake at 6am. Actually, they had nothing to do with it, but once I was up they demanded food anyway. The nap that I took on the couch while watching Inside Man on DVD last night probably has a lot to do with it. I really don't do well with this whole "work from home" thing...
The temp job I currently have is work-from-home. They email us deposition transcripts, and we summarize them. They're on a tight deadline, so they're more than happy to pay for extreme amounts of overtime ( Read more... ) -
change of plans
the maintenance guy showed up this morning, knocking on my door at 8:30am. I was still asleep, so I threw on a robe and opened the door for him. He left to get some necessary materials, so I threw on some clothes. He came back with materials and another worker.
