This is gorgeous. There's so much more to Donna than the show gave us, and especially more than fanfic usually gives us. Thank you so much for opening this little window.

THANK YOU! Yes, this is exactly it, there was so much more we could have seen from Donna, but the show never gave us or her the opportunity. Thank you for peeking in my little window.

Oh wow, this is such a huge compliment. I mentioned above that compliments for this fic mean even more coming from people who didn't care for Donna as she was presented in canon. It makes me think I wasn't totally insane for wanting to explore her character more, because there really was a lot left to be desired. Ugh, YES! I'll admit to loving Donna and being a J/D shipper, but seriously, she is and should have been written as more than just his quirky appendage and/or angsty ex-appendage. But I'm a fan of gen fic in general, even when I ship, lol.

Thank you so much for reading!

This was a really great read. There's so many things in here that just work so well.

Beautifully done.

Donna is a character that doesn't get a lot of love by herself.

Thanks! Oh, you're absolutely right, Donna doesn't get enough attention to who she is as her own person. I think that was one of my main reasons for writing this, even though I was terrified the whole way through, lol.

Thank you again!

No, thank you. Donna deserves more love. I'm just glad it felt like everything worked in this fic, because there were SUCH huge holes left in her characterization on the show. Thanks again for reading!
