I've started this journal entry at least ten times - wrote a phrase or sentence, decided it wasn't right, and deleted it (and repeat). That's how it is with everything lately - so much editing and second-guessing that I end up doing/saying nothing (hence no journal entries even though I said I wanted to do more of that). Thinking about friendship today...

I am always in disbelief when a group of parents rally together to ban a book from a school or library (as they are at this IL high school), since it seems less likely for them to rally together for or against something worthwhile.
