A.) Basic Community Rules:

First and Foremost know the difference between IC [ in character ] and OOC [ out of character ]. Make sure you're able to seperate the two. All things IC should stay there. If you're bringing IC - OOC, you'll be given a warning. If you can't abide by this rule, you'll be asked to leave.

Don't kill your character off unless they actually die in real life. If you don't want the role anymore, email the journal password to: nl_maintainer@yahoo.com and we'll be sure to give the journal to someone who can do the character justice.

Pregnant? Yeah, no. You're not pregnant unless your actually celebrity is in real life.

Going out of town? Fantastic! Now, go post in out_of_char letting us know that' you'll be MIA. If you don't give us notice, oops, you'll be replaced due to inactivity.

New Rule as of August 10th, 2003 Any character who's journal has not been updated for three weeks WITHOUT notice in out_of_char can be replaced if someone requests it.

B.) Regarding Story Lines:

1. Story lines dealing with suicide attempts, Bulimia, Anorexia, and etc. will not be tolerated unless you're Calista Flockheart. Please try to protray your characters as close as you can to real life.


2. Please talk to a Character's writer OOC if you have any ideas and/or changes to your story line. It's not cool at all to wind up pregnant when you haven't talked to the writer OOC about it.

C.) Journals:

1. Did we provide the code? Great! You'll be expected to return it after 7 days, when a new code will be generated. Email the code to: nl_maintainer@yahoo.com


2. All journals that we provide codes for are property of not_listening and you are expected to hand it back over if you leave.


3. Need a layout? Swell. How about HQ icons? Fantastic! Now go join iconslayouts and request things there. Read all the rules before posting in that community.
