I know ... I'm so sad that I missed the whole thing. I tuned in and they just told me, and it was all over. Friggin' Australia with their half a day ahead.

That's a great picture (even if it does look like Serena's lifting an imaginary barbell - which she could of course do with a real one given her enormous arms).

I didn't follow the Australian Open at all this year (stupid day job), but now I wish I had. Go Serena!

That's a great picture. I saw her post-match speech after her win and she still comes off as a nice kid who just happens to be a killer tennis player.

I'm glad she's back - she and Venus make tennis a whole lot more interesting.
