Need a story!

I have been tapped to tell the "Story for All Ages" at our contemporary service on Sunday. The service is being given by the Celtic Coyotes, so of course it will be Celtic. I believe they are talking about the Wheel of Time. I want a story that fits in along at least one axis - it doesn't have to be Celtic AND about time or the seasons. It should

Do you have a feel for the sort of story you'd like? I have numerous collections of Irish fairy stories and Celtic folklore and Irish ghost stories. Unfortunately, the ones I often tell don't seem appropriate for a young audience (they involve either dead bodies or vengeful women spirited off by the faeries).

Some kind of nature-centered folklore, maybe? It does need to be appropriate for a young audience. Maybe something related to winter.
