Yeah, Gaila doesn't know how to work the private communications buttons. She doesn't really bother to try. She does relay her current coordinates though.
To Pavel: Here I am!
To Man Jim: I really really wanna see you. So when you get a chance, could you stop on by?

"привет, Gaila." Pavel said with a smile, then decided to reach down and give the Orion a big, greatfully hug. "I hawe newer said thank you for sawing me on the Farragut."

He sat down beside her, doing a run through of her appearance to make sure she was doing well too, before scratching his cheek sheepishly.
"These dances...can I learn them?"

"You are...truly amazing, Gaila. So much skill is needed, that I did not think of! This story is sad, but it is also beautiful." Pavel stopped clapping, but his smile never left. "Thank you for helping--and sharing these with me."
He got up and joined Gaila by her side. He'd worn a simple black shirt and the most movable sweatpants he could find, because he knew he was going to be attempting very...flexible positions.
"Would you do this again, please? I will try to follow you." Pavel had already memorized every move in his mind, being used to memorizing much more, but he knew he would need help with the actual dance part. "And I will tell you, I am terrible at dancing."

Then she realized Pavel hadn't had much sex and that probably wasn't a nice comment for him. "Sorry. Look, you're strong and flexible, and it's easy. See, here. You get down in a crouch like this. Then remember how I got up, and stayed low?" Gaila demonstrated. "Now you try it."

He repeated the moves, then the several ones after, showing her that he had, in fact, been paying attention. At a certain sway of his hips, though, Pavel stopped and shook his head.
"That did not feel like it was supposed to, I think." He chuckled sheepishly.

Gaila got behind Pavel and put her hand on his hips. It didn't occur to her at first Pavel might be uncomfortable with this. "Move them like this," she said, and tried to show him.

He tried to follow suit. Letting Gaila push his hips in the right directly--a circulating motion that was harder than it looked. Feeling stiff at first, but after a few tries managed something that he figured was...pretty close? Pavel hoped.
"This is a main part of the dance, yes?" He asked, trying the move again. "I would think this is easier for women because their hip bones are formed differently from mens'..."

Gaila had her hips up against Pavel's, with her hands settled on them. They tried the swivel thing again. "There, you've almost got it. Now you've got to relax your arms. When you reach out for the slave, you've got to really reach, like you . . ." Gaila tried to think of a way Pavel might understand, because Pavel would never enslave anyone. "Well, the closest thing is like reaching out for a lover. But like a lover you want to make hurt. Of course the sentiment of the dance is you really do want to hurt them, but you can pretend you want to hurt them in just a nice, sexy way."
Gaila guided his arms with hers.

He let Gaila guide him all the while, fixing his petty mistakes and showing him through each act. She was a good teacher, Pavel realized.
[[OOC: Sorry for the partial god-modding? XD Feel free to do the same! I figured going through each thing would take too long?]]

"You're doing so good, sweetie." She adjusted the configuration of Pavel's fingers, and made him do an arm sweep again. "Okay, now comes the part where the two slaves fall in love. You give a little hop, and . . ." She drifted off because Pavel was already doing the steps. He remembered them perfectly, and was really learning the flow of this style of dance, though his movements were still rather stiff in some ways. She watched him for a moment, then realized something else.
"Honey, you've got to dance with all parts of you. That means your face, too. And because it's a story, you're feeling different things all the way through. Like when the slaves go behind your back, you've got to show in your face your anger, and your rage, and even your pain and fear. These slaves are everything to you; you lose them to each other and you lose everything for yourself. So there's terror there, and loss, as well as hatred. And point your toe there, so your leg makes a nice line."

He'd been so concentrated remembering the steps that he'd completely forgotten to do anything else. "Eh, I will remember this!" Pavel shook his head for being so stiff.
Trying to follow her instruction, he pushed down the feeling of embarassment he felt when he tried to put the emotion into the dance, which was soon completely gone when Gaila joined him to demonstrate, her unrepressed attitude lifting his.
Whether he was doing it right he didn't know. But when it came to the slaves earning their punishment, Pavel thought of the deepest feeling of control, and he tried to push it into his, albeit rough, dance. He thought of Hikaru, and Mr. Lee, too; the rage and sorrow that both of them had the habit of showing, and the anger and loss that it had given Pavel as well.
And then suddenly, in his head. he really was the master. And Hikaru and Mr. Lee were his slaves. They had fallen in love and he would not stand for it. He split them apart, and reinforced their alignment to him; they were his and only ( ... )

Trying to spot was hard, because he couldn't seem to stay in a straight line, but Pavel adjusted to it after a few tries. Gaila's every example was so effortless, so beautiful, Pavel practically felt the control and precision she was emanating.
Finally they finished the dance, and Pavel felt a little proud of himself. He was slightly dizzy, but he waited for it to pass, he really felt like doing more. The dance released something from him, pent up energy and negative emotions. If this is what meditation was like, Pavel would have to ask Spock about the Vulcan type; he felt accomplished and restful, more than he'd ever been in a while.
"Gaila." He started. He looked like he'd run a marathon, she looked like she hadn't done anything strenuous all day. "Do you think...there is another dance you could teach me that I can do for, mm, Hikaru?"
And maybe even for Mr. L-- Pavel shook his head rapidly from the thought, wherever it had come from. He wanted to get to know the man, but not know him with ( ... )

But Jim was dropping by soon. "I can totally teach you something else, honeybunches. I got some things to do right now, but we could totally meet up later this week. You just comm me, okay?"
They agreed and said their goodbyes. Then Gaila met up with Jim.
