It's angst people. Seriously. My apologies, but it's straight up angst.There's a limit, she thinks, to what human beings can endure. A threshold. A barrier, that if crossed, becomes unendurable. She looks back fondly now at the dozens of times she'd thought she'd hit that mark, only to be proven just how wrong she'd been by those fickle fates that dashed her broken spirit on the waves and jagged rocks again . . . and again, for sport. It seems that threshold is still further out, dangling, mocking her, waiting to break her for good. How she moves through her days now, she isn't certain. By ripping off the broken pieces that hurt too much to carry, she supposes. She feels lighter without them, but less too ( ... )

There's pain still, unimaginable, and limits, of endurance, on the horizon, waiting to be reached. But she wonders if maybe she's not quite there yet, if maybe she's still a person here, in this place. And maybe he is too, she thinks, if anyone is, it has to be him and in that moment, she feels the spark of life flooding back into her. Infusing her with the reminders of those small human joys that drive all people on when reason tells them to stop driving. Want and desire and hunger and need. Basic. Intrinsic. Primal. There's something else too, on the edge of the rest, trying to push its way in. She resists it. It's blinding and warm and peaceful, but she isn't sure if she can let it back yet. It's still so soon. It can wait, she decides ( ... )

It makes me almost shivery, how well you managed to convey just how cathartic and healing that fight was. <3<3<3

I love the way you describe Kara coming back to life, how she begins to enjoy life again, the brightest moment being her reunion with Lee. And I love their silent communication too through their looks. Great job!

H'oooh my goodness. This was so lovely. Just showing how much healing she had to do from New Caprica and how a large part of that was Lee rings so incredibly true. You've got the meta-wheels in my brain spinning into overdrive with this. Thank you muchly!

My goodness! I really how you portrayed their fight, their physical wounds as their healing from the emotional ones that had given each other earlier.
