one thing that's for sure is that winning presidency cant continue to be about winning for your political party, it needs to be about winning for your country.
i agree, both candidates are not the greatest. The majority of people i believe who will vote for kerry will vote based solely on the fact that they don't like bush, so hes the only candidate left. Not whether kerry will actually be a better commander in chief. Just because you don't like a current president doesn't mean that the other candidate is necessarily better.
Wow Mike what happened? You've changed a lot since I last knew you. It wasn't long ago that you and I were on the same side and arguing against the very type of person you've become.
So saying that Bush fucked up means I'm no longer a Republican? I still consider myself a Republican, though I have always been a little liberal on most social issues. And the person I have become has nothing to do with these things I write on livejournal, your comment really reflects how little you know me.
Just because I don't believe in war doesn't mean I don't think it is necessary at times. I don't really think that Iraq was one of those times, at least at this present moment, and that opinion of mine has changed over the course of time due to the things I see and hear today, and have been seeing and hearing for awhile.
I like Bush, in fact even though I'm out of the Republican tax bracket, I would vote for him if I were old enough. I even signed up on his website to volunteer, and I support most of his policy, however I am entitled to say that he fucked up. He did, at least in my opinion.
