Tonight, I had this moment with one of my kids which I will relish until I have some of my own. I got off early and one of the last things I had to do was tuck David in. You know how sometimes you message people and they don't end up responding until days later? Well when this happens, I have made this observation: I tend to be in the same frame of mind when they finally respond and I feel as if I have had a single thought over those few days.
