Entry Twenty-Seven

Alright then. Who exactly gave Luna coffee?

And what the deuce is going on with Parvati and flowers? Every single class I've had with her today, we've been interrupted by the same twitty owl delivering a single white rose on the hour, and it's a bloody distraction and getting bloody annoying and it makes me feel guilty because I still haven't made ( Read more... )

Wow, you seem awfully quick with that diagnosis. Is that your problem then?

Nope, just your's.

Though your's might also be permanent PMT.

You have to be female in order to have PMT, idiot. Clearly the Bludgers you took to the head during your Quidditch days have addled your brain.

Yes, they are.

Um, would you like some?

That would be me. But it was less 'giving to her' and more 'she took some'.

Ah, I see. Do you know if it was her idea to come over and wake me up? She wasn't wandering the halls by herself, was she?

You should keep your coffee out of reach in the future. Imagine the calamity if some of the first years got a hold of it.

It's just coffee, Smith. Not crack. Wait...do you know what crack is?

Are you jealous that Patil is getting flowers and you are not? I'm sure it can be arranged if necessary.

As for Luna, she seems a bit upset of late, and I've not caught you canoodling with her as much as before. Is there something going on that I have yet to find out?

[private to Smith]

Just because you gave me booze does not mean that if you hurt her feelings, it will deter me from kicking your arse.

No. Flowers are stupid.

Yes. Actually I've been meaning to tell you, I've been cheating on her. With Goyle. And I might even throw in girl Malferret if I get especially bored. Just thought you should be the first to know because naturally, everything that goes on in our relationship is completely your business.

Private to Zabini: Go ahead. But given that since I've been playin Quidditch since second year, I'm fairly confident in my ability to take you, should things descend to such a childish level.

Funny who's talking about "minding" others' "business. This is the same bloke who in this same post is denigrating Patil's smitten admirer and his/her/its methods. This is also the same bloke who gets all holier than thou about stalker boy the camera'd Creevey's transfiguration woes and Longbottom's marauding plant. This is ALSO the same bloke seems to believe that he knows better and is superior to the Aurors making sure that he doesn't, in fact, get captured and minced and processed into Basilisk kibble by rampaging Death Eaters.

And here I thought that Hufflepuffs believed in fairness.

[Private to Boy Bitch Smith]

Quidditch is, sad to tell you, not the end all be all for combat. And I distinctly recall NOT being the one to challenge another to a duel, if we're going to talk about childishness.

So what the fuck did you do to her?

My "smitten admirer" is actually a "he." And very much so. Not a "she" or "it." In fact, since the only "it" I know if is Draco Malfoy, definitely not. Just thought I'd clarify.

Zacharias, Zabini wouldn't be a particularly good friend if he wasn't concerned about Lovegood, would he? So maybe you could tell him what the matter is? Who knows, since he is her friend, he might even have some suggestions on how to fix it. Whatever the problem is.
