There seems to be so much negative energy going around that if I could give a couple of fingers to make things better, I would. Perhaps everyone could donate their pinkie for the cause. Or perhaps they could do the much simpler task of calming down and thinking about what's really important.

It's funny how when you're down you feel like you'll never be happy again, even though you know rationally that you can't possibly be sad for the rest of your life. Well, at least it's nice and warm in the castle. I've noticed that the violin can be a very maudlin instrument...it's very good for death scenes and tragedy, but not so good for frustration and anger. Not that I'm angry. I'm just...something.
