Entry Twenty-Nine

I never really saw the allure of these Muggle sports, but the football tournament that Boot organised is beginning to grow on me. Who knows, I might even learn the rules well enough to commentate for the final if there was enough of a crowd. I never thought a sport that only has one ball could be so interesting, and perhaps it would be even more so ( Read more... )

Someone needs to tell Brown as well as you that actually, since she's currently walking around wearing enough eyeshadow on to bury a small body with

And you've never botched an experimental charm? So piss off until you become mister perfection.

And as for Parkinson, at least she's trying. And I just defended a Slytherin? What's the world coming to?

There's a lot to be said for the natural look, Finnigan. Brown's a fit attractive girl - she doesn't need to bother with all that facepaint crap.

Pfft. Standing to one side of the field and making occasional half-hearted runs towards centre does not qualify as trying. It's unfair to her teammates and she needs to work harder.

You leave Pansy alone, Smith. She's a lot smaller than Bulstrode the rest of the players on the team - did it ever occur to you that she might be frightened?

And you don't even own a copy of Teen Witch Weekly, so who are you to say that Lavender is wearing too much make-up? Besides, Wanda Wandworthy says that smoky eyes are in this season although perhaps not bright purple ones so pah - what do you know?

What part of experimental charms did you not understand? She is currently in the process of seeing if there's a way to apply make up with magic instead of always putting it on herself. So unless ye would like to start sleeping with one eye open at night, I suggest that you refrain from saying one more thing about Lavender. So please, do continue actually. There are some interesting hexes I would like to experiment with.

I think, perhaps, you should play before you judge.

You don't need to be that familiar with a sport to recognise that someone who barely does anything or likewise moves during the entire match isn't doing their job.

Yes, but since you're not even a fan it's not in your jurisdiction to critise.

Zacharias Smith! I can't believe I have lived in the same House as you for over six years and you could write something so foul! URGH! You don't like it when people point out their flaws, so don't point out theirs.

Tact. You need to practice tactful ways to say things.

I said that MacDougal was a good player and Bulstrode was aggressive. I wasn't totally negative then, was I?

When you've only three players to begin with and one isn't doing anything, it's no reflection on the other two and no mystery that you're going to lose.

No, you weren't totally negative. But you were rather harsh with Pansy.

From what I saw, Pansy looked as if she was trying and she looked like the rest of us after the match.

I don't care what you think men want women to be like, I care about being myself and finding someone who likes me as I am, not as some sporty type. And I have found one, so there.
And I did get quite sweaty, actually. Cheerleading is hard work. Was that too much informations?

Yes, cheerleading is hard work. People just overlook it because of the cute girls in little skirts factor and Smith is a moron. Don't worry, Seamus and Dean and I appreciate all your hard work and support!

Thanks, Parvati. The little skirts are quite fun, too.

HOW DARE YOU!

I don't play like Millicent or Morag because I could get hurt. I'm delicate.

You're more likely to get hurt if you hang back and make half-hearted tackles than if you go in wands blazing. But yesterday you didn't and look what happened? You won. See, if you're prepared to put in the work, you'll always get something out of it.
