It went fine.

The highlight of the day (that I'm willing to share, anyway) was when I discovered a new idea for running the team. We're going to be more military like next season. Just call me Drill Sergeant John.

I guess I should thank you all for the surprise party for my birthday, even though I was trying to keep it a secret from you bastards.

Because during the party, something nice happened. And I don't mean the cake.
