[Captain Sparrow happens to be sauntering past when he notices a girl on the ground. He shrugs and continues walking before stopping, head cocked to the side. His soul is not in good standing right now, that was true enough. A good deed might right it a bit more. And the girl might need help. Then there was the problem of his soul becoming too pure and reapable.

Ugh.

But there is something else he can't quite place about the not-dead girl...

So it might have been prevailing curiosity that drove him to spin on his heel and head back to kneel at her side and poke her experimentally.]
