Last night we had some impressive lightning. Other than looking awesome, it also caused our power to fluctuate a lot. This made my old desktop (which is essentially just plugged into the wall) very unhappy. How does knowing how to rapidly calculate powers of 7 help determine my problem solving ability? It only proves that I'm not a human calculator. I'm going to have to take the test again in May now... I've commented before about the preponderance of black in the CD art for CDs that I own. Today I opened what I've been expecting to find for a while: A CD that is just matte black with no letters or anything. Today I attended a meeting where the gender breakdown was, get this, five women and three men. Of course, none of them are my age or anything, but it's still really weird. Got back from Michigan yesterday. Other than the couple of hours we spent at the service for Grandpa, this was more or less the same as every other family gathering I can remember going to.
