My connection to the internet was finally repaired today. The problem was my connection to the switch in the building. The port had apparently gone bad. I really hate driving in the rain. I moved into the apartment Thursday as planned. I borrowed my parents' van and crammed it about 80% full with things. It's a good thing that the apartment is on the first floor. I got around to calling the apartment office, and revealed that as we had surmised, the local phone is only suggested. So yesterday I went out with Dad to arrange that I be added to our plan.
