I saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix this morning. I think I might be in the minority on this one, but I really liked it. Of course, I am a morbid creature, and this is a dark, dark movie. Steve Buscemi! I saw him in _Parting Glances_ and thought "I must see every movie this man has ever been in or ever will be." Who knew?

I think it's ineffably cool that a Hollywood star--a GOOD Hollywood start--got his start in an indie gay comedy, stealing every single scene he was in. The same movie introduced me to Bronski Beat and Jimmy Sommerville.

Oh Buscemi. Was he fabulous? he seems like he'd be fabulous. What I want to know is, when the heck is Turturro's Romance & Cigarettes being released in the states? I love that movie so much.

Wow, that was bizarrely gushy for someone who seems to hate everything he sees these days.
