Dude. I went to the midnight showing of OOTP in IMAX! Total amazing surround sound and everything from the thestral flight through the Dept. of Mysteries fight in 3-D!

Guess what? I loved this movie. Everything that was removed deserved to be jettisoned for the sake of the story, all the canon revisions made complete sense, Ralph was liquid evil and Snape was in his velvety-throated glory. Wonderful film, all around.

Color me intrigued. I still haven't seen it, but that^^^ is a bold statement.
