Here I am lying on the couch because I busted my fuckin ankle this morning and this shit made me laugh. Oh, God, those poor pathetic birds. I don't say this because of any particular superiority I feel to them but rather because I feel lucky that my useful lifespan isn't directly related to my looks. I can't imagine what it must be like to be on the receiving end of that cruel trick. To have no function than to be a professional parasite must be deadening when you suddenly realize that that rich-looking-cigar-smoking-sockfucker down the bar isn't actually looking at you, but at the younger chick next to you. And she's only 5 years younger. Good Christ. Enjoy that PJ trip honey. You're gonna have to make that baby last.
