i usually keep a big chunk of change in my room, just for whenever i need money so i don't have to stop at the bank. before i left for canada on thursday, kim came to pick me up and i took the money out of my secret spot and counted it (about $400), and then asked her "how much money should i bring with me? i guess $60 will do.." and i grabbed ( Read more... )

christ, that fucking sucks. maybe you should think about just getting a debit card... that way, you have no insane amounts of cash just lying around and also you can't rack up a huge debt because it's all coming directly from your own account.

DUDE.. fuck her. i mean.. no offense. i don't know her, and who knows? maybe she DIDN'T take it (although after reading all of this i agree with you - it seems like there's no other possibility). but that shit really doesn't add up. :(

i should have known she was untrustworthy from the way she fucked other people over. who cares if i'm her "best friend"?

i haven't confronted her because i have no actual evidence (even though it's obvious that she took it..) and i still wanna keep searching my room just incase. she also has a shitload of my clothes right now, and if i freak out then i'll never get them back. i just have to pretend that i don't suspect her, and keep a close eye on her. if she goes out and buys a new car stereo in the next few days, she fucking stole it. and i will probably end up stealing her stereo, selling it, and getting my fucking money back.

That is seriously one of the most fucked up things I have ever heard of a "best friend" doing. And since I know who you're talking about it's even more fucked up. And all for a damn car stereo! If someone considers you to be their close friend then they sure as hell shouldn't steal from you. You trusted her enough to take money out of your secret spot in front of her, and if I were Kim, that would be reason enough for me to never even THINK of jeopardizing our friendship even if it was for something I really wanted/felt like I needed. Get a babysitting job or something, for fuck's sake.

Dude, I'm really sorry about what happened. After you get all your shit back from her...be cruel.

My best friend is a waitress and always has tons of money on her. I've seen where she keeps it all in her room (almost $1000), and I've never even THOUGHT about taking it. I've been in there house when absolutely no one has ever seen me and no one would even know that I was there, but I would never think to steal from someone I consider a friend.
