I've been off the map for awhile, and I may be still. I just wanted to pop in and say hey. I hope all is well with everyone, and that the fires in Australia are far away from Draconin and his peeps.

Today is the day we find out if the United States has finally grown up, or if we are watching the end days of this grand experiment. Well, $175 later (about $100 more than I can afford), Wu is back home, currently washing her back foot. She's got a whole new diet, she's had some liquid pumped into (which seems to have mostly come out onto her back) and she's on antibiotics. The vet, who was very nice, said she's not blocked and should feel better soon. I'm relieved ( Read more... )

My cat Wu is peeing blood, so Yay! I have to take her to the vet. On Sunday, which means it costs more. Of course, I just paid my rent so I have limited cash. I have to take her way across town, to one of the only vets open on Sunday, which oddly enough is the place where I got her about six years ago.
