Xposted from where I started rambling in saava Angie's LJ. Cuz I didn't really feel like writing a real post, but then I surprised myself in a comment box.
...I talked myself into an almost complete state of suspension of disbelief, and in that frame of mind, I found this ep to be at least better than most of the previous ones.
Or, I might just be latching onto this show now because Angel's over and I irrationally believe that somehow, some way, Lena Olin will be back next season. (And if you actually know anything about this? Don't tell me. Kthanx.)
Plus, I was watching a little mini-marathon of some S2 eps from Netflix, and they were so gooood that maybe I'm just in a more forgiving mood, lol. *shrug*
What I wanna know is how Sydney managed to talk not just in Lauren's incredibly odd British accent, but in her frickin' VOICE. And yeah, I can think of a couple of superspy techy solutions, but how could they possibly be manufactured on such short notice? ...Why am I trying to find logic in what was obviously not logically thought out?! *cough* And why am I writing a post in your comment box...ahem, apologies :)
In all fairness though? I don't wanna wait 'til January. :-P
