Thanks for posting this.
I grew up in a working class family, doing manual labor, and was the first in my family to go to college. I feel blessed to know the beauty of both brains and brawn (not necessarily referring to my own - haha). There were so many wonderful lessons I learned working in the trenches, literally, with down-to-earth people, that I will always value that part of my upbringing.
I was also struck by not only what Mike L had to say, but also the fact that you are one amazing man yourself, Mr. Noel. Sensitive, funny and talented (from your always enjoyed "Popular" video) to being a thinking man's man. I've chatted with you briefly in the past on BMB (my profile is # 1780), and had the brief good fortune of passing you on the streets of SF while visiting a buddy there a couple years ago. Just glad to see you're still out there, spreading your special, sweet sense of "noel". Hope those SF fellas know how lucky they are to have you. Cheers, mate. Mike
