I did want to post this to facebook, but the internet down here is being difficult. I just wanted to let you guys know that John and I are heading into the Belize mainland jungle to explore a mayan temple and go tubing through some of the cave system. All for safety purposes, you know. Hopefully, we will be back in one piece.

Day 3 of our Belizean holiday consisted of taking a trip on a catamaran out to two snorkeling sites. The day began at 7:00AM with a cup of Belizean coffee and cereal with milk. Our second day of our Belizean honeymoon began at 7:30AM. We started off with a cup of coffee while we waited for 9:00AM to roll around so we could call our bank to get our cards cleared. At 10:00AM we caught a water taxi to San Pedro where we were finally able to get some cash. The exchange rate is pretty simple down here: US$1 = BZ$2. Both are ( Read more... )

The morning after our wedding began on the rooftop of The Redmont Hotel where John and I spent our wedding night dancing away with friends. We decided to turn in at about 2:00 AM. Just enough time to get 2 and a half hours of sleep before heading out to the airport. 4:30 AM came in the blink of an eye and we were in the cab. We got through security ( Read more... )
