I would. I'm already considering it, actually.

I wouldn't want my skills to go to waste. And someone needs to keep an eye on the people of the city.

And I you. It's up to the people, now.

Tseng sounds a lot like a Xingese name to me, am I right?

Wutaian. I'm not familiar with Xing.

What a shame, what a shame. I'm genuinely disappointed.

Hello, Mister Tseng. How will your experience assist the people in the City, especially during times of curses?

I've had to deal with any number of crises at home. Compared to some of them, the admittedly few curses I've seen have been fairly tame. However, in the case of any curse, I would seek to ensure the well-being of the populace through whatever means necessary.

And what means is that?

It would depend on the curse, and its nature. If people were a danger to themselves and others, they would be moved to a place where they would be unable to do so until the curse passed. If it were a disease-curse, the affected would be placed into quarantine until either a cure was found or the curse ended.

Does that answer your question?

In other words, you see this as your usual duty, Mr. Tseng?

Say rather that I would treat it as if it were.

That is enough for me.
